Chair focused on ergonomics and comfort of seating while maintaining the ability to change as many sitting positions as possible.
Research focused on Flokk, sustainability and ergonomics, market research of already available ergonomic office chairs.
I additionaly supported my research by talking to professional osteopath about the main issues office workers are facing.
I started off the project with sketching first ideas and concepts and later on I moved to building 1:5 scale models.
After iterating my first concept and working more on dimensions and details I started making functional and visual 1:1 models.
The assembly is very easy, the whole chair consisting only from a few parts made out of sustainable materials such as aluminium, recycled plastic and linen fabric.
The chair could come in many different colours as you can see here so that it fits the preferences of the user. For manufacturing purposes, the colour of the fabric and hardware is not the same but differs slightly. Users can mix and choose as much as they please.
I wanted to bring a pop of colour with my chair. The user can pick their own colour and material finish combination.

As the figurines show, you can assume any position that you’re comfortable in. Suitable for putting your legs up, even sitting sideways. The unique heart shape offers the perfect spot to rest your arm when sitting like that.
